Madison Street Festival

Historic downtown Madison welcomes more than 13,000 visitors annually for the Madison Street Festival. Make plans to attend this outdoor event which includes local musical performances, arts and craft booths, a car show, exhibits, plus special presentations that include a Birds of Prey show and Alabama Nature Center on Tour.

The 12 and under crowd will delight in the free activities found in the Children's Zone, including craft stations, face painting, magic shows, a petting zoo, and hours of fun!

A parade kicks-off the event at 8:45am. "All Aboard for the Festival" is this year's theme, so look for fun floats and keep an eye open for the "Little Engine that Could" section for our stroller and wagon entries! Returning again this year, is the "Tail End" portion of the parade, dedicated to our canine participants and their owners.

It's a full day of fun and activities! Free entry, free parking (Madison City Stadium), and free shuttle service.
